Hello, and immedeately a question...

Hi, I just signed up and thought I'd introduce myself here.
I'm Ronald, 23 years old and been a fan of Pink Floyd for 13 years.
Ever since I saw the Berlin Concert in 1990.
(Yesterday I bought the DVD version.)

I have a question for you guys....., and YES I did use the search option first.
I've started out on google and thus found this site.

My question is the following:
Can anybody tell me how many videoclips there are and what they are? Both of the band and the solo artists.

These are the ones I know of:
- Another Brick In the Wall Pt. 2
- High Hopes

Not actually a videoclip in the "MTV"-sense:
- Welcome To The Machine

Thanks in advance,
Eequalsmcsquare

How many? Exactly? Big question. Over to the informed masses.

Lots and lots! Both High hopes and Learning to fly were videos directed by Storm Thorgerson and are so quite artyish. They're both on the Echoes website along with other video if you are interested.

ABITW part 2 is just a clip from the Wall movie.

Don't know too much myself but some of the others here know lots and lots.

I do recall Dave Gilmour playing by a pond in a pretty OK video for Learning to Fly.

Thanks for the quick reply guys.
Hope some of the real Pink ones reply here. With a complete list.

And Blytey, ABITW2 is not a mere scene from the movie as far as I know. It is a regular videoclip in the MTV-style

Welcome
They have lots of promos for all the 1967-1968 singles.
Tour movies (that appeared on the circular screen) for lots of songs.
EP for The Final Cut.
some late singles had videoclips: High Hopes, Learning to Fly (2versions), Keep Talking, Night OF A 1000 Furry Toys, ummm....uff a complete list would be a major task.

Maybe there is a community member with the knowledge and available time to invest in such a thing.
Not just for me, but for the entire community.
I couldn't find it anywhere on the internet.

ABITW part 2 is SO a clip taken directly from the movie. I had that clip from MTV for ages, and then I saw the same thing when I finally got the movie.

As for clips, blimey, I've only seen those early promos (like Arnorld Layne and See Emily Play), a bunch of live videos, BBC clip -I think it was- Learning to Fly (the clip era was already a fact, by then), and brain Damage/Eclipse.

There are two videos for this song, one is indeed from the film, the other is a bunch of kids singing the song on a playground.

Learning to Fly not only had the one mentioned ewarlier, but another with some guy with a feather in the beginning, then everything is shot from his perspective, as he learns to fly.

I can't remember all the ones from the Final Cut, I'm sure someone knows, but there were plenty.

Welcome to the Machine had one also, but it was just footage used during the 77 tour.
