Closest thing we get to a decent film showing is the midnight replay series at University. Clockwork, Shining, Lebowski and Darko, etc., even Cannibal the Musical, which I missed, dammit. Also, the Castle theatre is up and running, real classy place from what I've seen and heard. And I prefer La Gondola's Spaghetti House's gondolas, thank you very much...though they did steal the recipe from Avanti's.

oh yeah, the Oscars bite a big fat one.

And Ebert sucks.

Why must you resent my taste in movies Ikky? It is a very FUN movie, nothing worthy of the same praise as greats like Citizen Kane or Shine.. it's not a drama, it's a VERY FUN swashbuckling comedy... in other words a great movie.. if the movie manages to entertain every single minute of it's duration it's a great movie
