Re: Christmas '03..So wad'ja get?

My brother got me about ten different DVDs, all of them awesome-looking; my parents got me clothes and cymbals; and I got three pairs of corduroy pants from different relatives.

Re: Christmas '03..So wad'ja get?

I got a few things from my parents, relatives, etc, but I think my favourite present was one from my mum.

Baby pink suede boots. I know they look weird, and everyone probably thinks them silly, but that's just why I love them. Aside from that, it just goes to show exactly how well my mum knows me.

I also got a couple cd's, an acoustic guitar, and another pair of boots, as well as some of that initial stuff that is all over the place.

My old man said all the 'j' stuff was so I didn't forget my name.

Re: Christmas '03..So wad'ja get?

I "mentioned" the PF Live at Pompeii DVD one too many times, and got 2 copies. I'll swap one for SRV: Live at Austin, TX

Got about a zillion golf balls (and a ball monogrammer -- hope it's not too painful)

And this neat Swiss Army Knife with about 40 tools in it.

Merry Christmas, everyone!!

Hey Shane! Corduroys are awesome!

I got a case for my Yamaha S90 keyboard, some Yes DVDs, some miscellaneous CDs, and Toast 6 Titanium (CD burning software for Mac).
With my b-day coming up in about a month, I'll be getting some more stuff!
I'm hoping to get some King Crimson DVDs and 2 100 packs of Taiyo Yuden CDrs (for trading shows) for that. Or just a DVD burner! If anyone has good suggestions for a good Macintosh DVD burner, please PM me with a suggestion.

They are, indeed - that's why I asked for them. But I didn't think I would get so many pairs at once.

I got a 5 string fretless acoustic bass, some bongos, and a surround sound system for my room. It was a very good christmas.

Re: Christmas '03..So wad'ja get?

I got the usual dad stuff - socks, boxers and aftershave.
I also got all the remastered Bunnymen cds, Pompeii dvd, Thorntons Continental choccies (all scoffed now), a new pair of kecks for hillwalking, a couple of winter woolies, a couple of trekking poles and a new gamepad to replace my recently deceased Sidewinder.

Oh, and a bottle of Glen Morangie single malt whiskey. Hic ...

Re: Christmas '03..So wad'ja get?

My friend tells me today that his present to me is a ticket to see David Bowie in effin' Fairfax, Virginia in May - fifteen-hour drive. Still, road trips are awesome - and it's David Bowie!!

Best Christmas ever.

That's why God gave us airplanes.

Enjoy Bowie.

Sorry, couldn't resist.
