I would very definitly recommend it. It disgusts me on a daily basis that I was too young at the time to be present at it, so I just listen to the CD and get very bitter.

I already answered to a dozen of similar threads about Pulse, but hey, this one is a poll... Pulse is excellent for me. I have fond memories of the live concert, which was a mind blowing experience and the live album is just an awesome rendition of the show. Great album.

The Dave-oriented version of Floyd is missing the stage presence and energy that was there when Roger was with them. Even though they still sound great, there isn't an emotional connection between the band and the audence. They just go from song to song and after a while, they're done. Even though Roger tended to get angry at audences in the late 70's, at least he's talking to them! Even so, I highly recommend the video of Pulse, since the visuals are so insane and mentally overstimulating that it takes a while for the numbing to wear off in your brain it's so cool!
