A Series of Unfortunate Posts

Recently I have upped the cynicism and breezy mockery of thread members, to the extent that a large number of them have expressed a discontent with the nature of my posts. I'm not kidding this time. Of course frankly, I don't give two shits what anyone on a website thinks about me, but I thought I'd make this thread so as to consolidate any and all extant bones that others have to pick with me. I'd like to outline the following:

1. I am an asshole, or as my good friend Driven ('Pete') of Australia has put it, I am a dickhead. Do not expect me to be nice to you just because that's the decent thing to do.

2. I like to make fun of you. This means that whenever you say something stupid, it's likely that I will be right there to point it out. I realize that everyone makes mistakes, and a lot of things are up to personal opinion. Please see #1.

3. I don't give a damn. Anything negative that you say about me goes in the round file. I will argue any view that I support, but that does not mean that I am taking you or your views seriously. I don't care if you're joking or dead-serious: I will treat both the same. Do not expect to irk me or assume that I have lost my temper. Any time that I tell you to **** off, assume that I am kidding, unless I send you a PM.

4. It's a ****ing website, for Christ's sake. If you take anything that I say to heart, you're an idiot. If you are hurt by anything I say, you're an idiot. You don't even know me. I don't know you. **** off. (thorin is exempt from this, as I sort of know him. He really can **** off.)

That said, I welcome any and all complaints, hate notes, & c. If you want I can reserve you a seat, Driven.

Ah yes, it's just a website, so it's a virtual battleground of expletives, insults, and overall nastiness. And no one disapproves? What happened to intelligent discussion? Does everyone have a heart of stone?

I don't know how much of the boards you might have browsed before posting, doc_how, but you'll be hard pressed into doing some damned fine searching for intelligent discussion.

It's all a rusey sort of GTM trap for illicit brawling for which most of you have, sadly, fallen.
