Vanilla Fudge

What about this psychedelic/blues rock from the mid-late 60's?
I simply love them. I can't spend many words because i'm not so good in english. For italian people, i've wrote an article about VF, you can find it here

Way to dated... they never evolved beyond the summer of love.....The belong in the bin with Uriah Heep, Strawberry Alarmclock and Iron Butterfly...

The coolest thing about Vanilla Fudge was Carmine's moustache.

fulghum, vanilla fudge weren't just psychedelic. have you ever heard "The Beat Goes On"? (one of the first Concept Albums)
They had one of my favourite bass players too (Tim Bogert).

Dude, I'm old enough to remember when Vanilla Fudge was new and on the radio.. (AM even). And yes.. I've heard just about all of their material.

All I'm saying is their music is very indicitave of a period. It does not posess the timless quality needed to trancend generations, like say, Bach, Schubert, Lennon/McCartney, Waters/Gilmour.....

They are K-Tel material..... I'm sure Time-Life will release their collected works on an infomercial aired at three A.M. for the low low price of three payments of only $19.95. AND.. if you order within the next five minutes.. you get a free Sonny and Cher fake pink fur vest and mirrored sunglasses.

sorry but i haven't understood the last paragraph
however, i think "The beat goes on" is their worst LP but they made great songs (Ticket to ride, You Keep me Hangin' On, Eleanor Rigby, Thoughts, Faceless People, Season of the Witch, Some Velvet Morning and Break Song are just some examples)
In my opinion, Ticket to ride and Eleanor Rigby are better than the Beatles'

Yeesh, the man takes his music seriously.

Kind of like how Denis Leary has scars on his wrists from when the Bee Gees got back together.

Well, I guess if one wants to make a nonsensical post, I guess it's virtually OK, but assuming from the nature of the post in question, I'd think you're thinking's assisted by non-organic chemicals.
