New PINK FLOYD TRIBUTE - MICHIGAN

Hi Everyone - this is my first post - but certainly not my last.
Can everyone do me a favor and check out my band's website?
Please let me know your thoughts, criticisms, praisees, etc.
We will be notifying the general public (i.e. friends and associates)next week.

I thought I'd let all of you here at this site have first crack!

Thanks!

You guys sound really good. My only gripe, Young Lust seems a bit too "fast". But saying that, I'd check you guys out if I still lived in Toledo. If you guys ever make it to the Columbus area I'd be more apt at going.
Brian

By the way, how long have you guys been together?

I forgot to ask, how is your live show set up? Such as lights, lasers, video, etc.

I think you guys sound great. If I were in your area, I'd go see you guys. Alas, I live in California.

You even put the sniff and cough in WYWH. Brilliant.

Thanks guys for the replies.

We've been together for about 8 months. We practice 1x a week for like 8 hours a shot!
We've only just had our first show, so we are still working things out, but at that show we had about 15 cans, 2 intelligent lights and a smoke machine. We plan on getting a circular screen and showing on it footage from Pompeii, Wall, old Floyd footage, still shots of Floyd, bootleg concert videos, official videos, etc...

We also had a VERY small pig "flying" above our drummer! ha ha!
Hopefully our pig will grow real big, real fast !

Between sets we play obscure live audio and other soundeffects.

Anyone have any other suggestions for our live shows?

Thanks Tterrab!
Me Les Paul was slightly out of tune (Aaaaarrrgghhhh!!!), but I think I got the solo tone and chops down pretty damn close.

I second on the slowing down Young Lust just a tad...

The solos sound pretty damn good! I'm originally from Ohio, if I'm ever up in town, I'd definitely check out one of your shows. Yep, pretty cool.

So Pearly (if I may call you that?), where originally are from in Ohio?
Originally, I'm from Toledo. But now I live in Bellefontaine, Ohio (about 45mins. West of Columbus).

None other than Sandusky, Ohio of course! The home of Cedar Point. Which was my second home growing up, as you could imagine! I now live in Florida.

Oops! I meant "Where originally are you from in Ohio?"
Sorry about that.
Brian

By the way, am I allowed to ask that, or is that too much info to put in a forum?

Sandusky huh? I was going to guess Cleveland. That's pretty close.
Ahh, Cedar Point...the greatest amusement park on earth. Been there quite a few times. Not yet this year though.
You live in Florida huh? Get tired of the cold winters and the humid summers?

Naaa, the Air Force brought me here. I've long been debating a return to Ohio. I miss the snow at Christmas, I miss the changing of the seasons, but I don't miss the frigid winter air coming off that stinking lake. lol.

I'd miss the changing of the seasons too, but we do get some frigid winters (I'm sure yours were worse being right off the lake!) and some nasty humid summers. I love Spring and Fall though.
I don't think I'd want to live in Florida though. New Mexico or Arizona would be nice though.
