Now, I'm extremely curious: Do any of you have (or know of) Syd Barrett autographs or signatures? I read he was not fond of signing autographs, and often declined or ignored people who asked for them.

I saw a Syd signature on a WALL album (eBay again) that MUST have been a fake, as it was signed "Syd" and not "Roger" and the WALL came out in late 1979, long after he had dropped the nickname.

What do you know of this phenomenon?

Hi,I just thought that I would let you know that Frazers Autographs of the Strand London are currently holding an internet Auction and in this Auction, which I think ends in mid August 2011,they are selling a collection of three autograph books one of which contains an authenticated Syd Barrett autograph.There are also many other musicians autographs in the books which date from the 1960s including band members of The Who.Just google Frazers Autographs and click on their site when the home page comes up click on the current auctions tab.when this comes up search for collections and then about halfway down on that page you will find the ad for the three books,kind regards Vonsmallhausen
