Darkside of Oz.......in 3-D !!!!

i just finished winning the 'Darkside of Oz' on VHS from an Ebay seller. the person selling them makes them into 3-D, puts the album over the original soundtrack, and sells them on ebay, so its not the only one for sale. it also includes the glasses! im going to come back here and post about it when i get it, with a (+) and (-) review. later~

I got some bad news for you sunshine. Not only did you get bamboozled (come on, you can do that sync on your own) but you allowed someone else to profit off another's hard work.

PS It aint in 3D despite what the guy says.

When i watched Darkside Of Oz it did absolutely nothing for me. I got bored and wondered why on Earth people made such a big deal out of it. Seems to me that there are only a few real synchronocities in it and all of them are unimpressive coincidences.

I haven't tried the Darkside of Oz yet but I am reliably informed that the Echoes-2001 synch is better. Having done that one myself, I can believe it.

well

actually, the guy that does these movies makes them into 3-D himself, or at least he has someone do it. because he's got a ton of others besides Wizard of Oz for sale. my friend in VA bought the 3-D Wizard version and said that it is awesome and actually works. and i know that im not too lazy to synch it up with Darkside myself when it comes in. i still just HAVE to do that. hah.

I still wouldn't buy it myself. I'm very wary of products bought over the Net.

I second that. I downloaded it off Kazaa and a lot of the song changes didn't even match the scenes. I thought it was just... stupid. It was just pure coincidence.

Who was even watching The Wizard of Oz while listening to this album anyways?

Gilmour is quoted in this month's edition of Record Collector mag that the whole concept is absolutely ludicrous! Obviously Seamus knows a lot more about it that any mere band member.

Yeah...when you actually fin out how many synchs are out there you realize that you can make almost anything synch up if you want to. This one just happens to be a little more interesting than most.

Somebody actually bid on this:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=61 7

MGM should sue.

It actually says in one part, "use common sense." At least 8 people didn't.

Re: Darkside of Oz.......in 3-D !!!!

I've actually seen this before...There's also one that cracked me up. It was only the first 40-some minutes of the movie, and in the fine print it said-Only 1 playing of DSOTM is necessary. Repeating the CD will not enhance the experience...or some crap. I was like...BULLSH*T.

I wonder if they realize that copyright infringement is a crime.
