Ever dream about Floyd?

Call me a freak...I don't know but I have had more than one dream about Pink Floyd and/or the ind. members of Floyd.

Last night I dreamt that I was at a house party....big spread of food...actually, I think I was in Limerick, Ireland. Anyway, the next thing I knew...David Gilmour was there with Nick and Rick. There was a band setup silimar to Gilmour's latest DVD concert. Come to find out it was David's house and his party. Then he handed me a 12 string guitar and asked me to play with them.

On another instance, my wife woke up to me singing Brain Damage along with the radio in a deep sleep. She said I was spot on and didn't miss a beat.

Yeah, I'm a freak.

Re: Ever dream about Floyd?

I've never dream about Floyd, but I had a dream about a Who message board. It changed their name recently, and I dreamt of some weird reason why they changed it. It gets pretty sad when one starts to dream about forums and message boards.

I dreamed once that Roger Waters turned into Mr. T. and grew a mullet.

Re: Ever dream about Floyd?

I had a dream that me and my talented friends formed a band and we covered the entire album dsotm at our high schools talent show and everyone went crazy and loved it...it was obviously a dream because for one thing theres no way we could pull it off the way we did in my dream and number 2 even if we played it amazingly my school wouldn't care...a white kid who thinks he's black who goes up there and does some gay ass rap song after us would get 5 times the appluase...****ing morons...

Sugarhill Gang is rap to respect. So is Pete Townshend's Gateway Remix of Who Are You. (freestyle rap in the middle)

I think all rap sucks.
Kind of ironic that my fiancé has been known to listen to it from time to time.

But, back on topic, I've dreamt of Floyd before. Nearly every night I'll put in The Wall, In the Flesh, Pompeii, or Gilmour Live in the old dvd/vcr just to lull myself to sleep. Oftentimes I dream of being at that particular show.

Yet there was this one time I dreamed that I bumped into Gilmour and had the old crazed fan reaction.

One of the other times I was listening to Animals as I fell asleep and I had this wicked nightmare about be chased down by dogs....then I was shot for some reason.....but I came back to life and when i opened my eyes (in my dream) i was in one of my old school buildings...and there was giant tapestries of floyd's album covers hanging on the walls.

Re: Ever dream about Floyd?

YOU call ME crazy! I keep dreaming about Roger Waters! (no, not that kind of dream!)
I keep dreaming tnat he's a bigger a**hole than I am, and he just does about everything to put me down. What a big meanie...
I dreamt that I met David Gilmour once, though...outside a concert or something.
But I only have those dreams when I'm very ill, apparently. I had a really bad cold when I had that David dream...

Re: Ever dream about Floyd?

I just remembered something. I was watching Doctor Who when suddenly the Cyberman said they had a ship on the Dark Side of the Moon. Does Pink Floyd work for them? Where they abducted by the cybermen and got the idea for DSOTM from the cybermen's story of mOndas dying and they took energy for Earth but then Mondas exploded now they would take a famous rock band and brainwash the world to come to the cybermen to be converted to into them. But Roger annoyed them with hi sranting and raving about his father they sent them back and abducted Aaron Carter. That's why he hasn't released antoher album. (Thank God!)

So have I. Probably 'cause I've never actually seen them and I'd like to.
