| Re: Which unreleased Syd Barrett song is best? He means missing from this poll. It's not listed here because "King Bee" isn't a Syd song, it was written by Slim Harpo. There were two other Syd originals recorded on that day ("Butterfly" and "Double O Bo," the James Bond theme crossed with Bo Diddley!) but they haven't surfaced online.

| Re: Which unreleased Syd Barrett song is best? Vegtable Man. Its so random, and it was written 10 mins before the band went in for recording, but its raw, how Barrett was feeling, what with the acid abuse, he was sort of, well lost. It shows that well!

| Re: Which unreleased Syd Barrett song is best? I love all three...but Vegetable Man just comes in first for me. "Scream" is mainly sung by Waters, and doesn't really have that 'Barrett-esque' sound to it. Vegetable Man is creepy, eerie, and has that feeling of loss-of-control to perfectly match the late-1967 mind of Syd.
