Floyd legends

Hi! I'm a Zeppelin fan, and recently I've heard a little of Pink Floyd. I read somewhere an article about Rock Music And the Devil or smthng, and there was mentioned bands like Zeppelin, Sabbath and Pink Floyd...
Pink Floyd's music made me wonder, if they were into occult or black magic or something. Or are there like any legends or stories of Floyd? For example, like the legend of Zeppelin's Stairway backwards.

I know nothing about Floyd, and I'm not sure if this has been asked many times. If so, forgive me. I'm just interested.

Re: Floyd legends

I reckon most of Roger's solo stuff (along with The Final Cut) was expelled straight from Satan's bottom but I've never heard any rumours or stories connecting Floyd with the occult. The idea is pretty ludicrous imo.

Ummmm...legends? Mysteries? Dare I even mention...Enigmas?

Loads, but very few occult. Every one has been discussed here on this site, well nearly every one, but you'll have to find and read them all to know which ones are missing.

Share and enjoy!

Re: Floyd legends

If you play Led Zepplin's Stairway to Heaven backwards, some people can decipher a bunch of Satanistic messages and the like. There's a website on it: http://www.triplo.com/ev/reversal/
Spooky stuff.

Re: Floyd legends

My theory is that you can play almost anything backwards, and if you try hard enough, you can hear about any 'message' you want to.
