Id say Roine Stolt, overlooked.
Also his band Flower Kings is overlooked, which is a pitty.

Yes, you are right. I mentioned him a few pages back, and I believe that even further having seen him play since I posted that.

All of these bands are better than the Beatles? The Who is the only one in the same league as the Fab four. The rest you've gotta be kidding man. In my opinion your really reaching. And by the way who is Mr. Bungle?

Well i guess I stoked this fire with all the Anti-Beatle heads in the world. So I'll take my hits and stick to my opinion as you all will stick to your's. But all the above mentioned bands some that i too like very much (The Who-Jethro Tull-Genesis the early years-Yes the early years up until Going for the one and newer bands like Radiohead and Tool) have one thing in common if you asked them If they were influenced by the Beatles or not. I would bet the Majority of them would say yes.

Re: Underrated/overlooked/unappreciated guitarist

All this who's better than who, if not argumented, is pointless. The Beatles are better than Yes, obviously, but Queen also is better than Yes, so what? On the other hand the Rolling Stones are certainly better than the Beatles, and Pink Floyd are better than all of them. But I cannot be arsed to explain why, frankly Peace.

Well i don't have one for you bud but i think if you look at the records and start from there you'll get your answer. Close to the Edge is an excellent album by Yes. I think it is there best. With that said i don't think its better then Abbey Road, The White album, or Sgt. pepper. If that doesn't sum it up for you i can't explain any more man. As for Ablaze's response with Rush well I'm not even going there because that is just absurd to be honest with you.
