The category description is that it's about David Gilmour's, Richard Wright's, and Nick Mason's solo careers. Maybe it should be there present lack of solo careers. I understand that they're getting old to tour and that sort of thing, but I can't help wishing that Dave would consider doing something. Even if it was just an EP or something, just SOMETHING. I was very distressed about the news on here the other day about Dave not doing anything. A while ago they had a rumor on the site about Dave going into the studio, making a new album, a new tour, the works. I was so excited about it, I told all my Floydian friends, got them excited, and just waited for more news. And waited. And waited until I learned that there is no new album being made. That may not be the band's fault, but still. Does anybody else in here, feel the way I do... Vera! Vera!... oh, sorry.

I hear ya Radiochair!I want nothing more than to hear some new stuff.Even if it's just enough to have to tour so I can hear their old stuff live once again! I saw them at exhibition stadium in Toronto in `94 and I NEED to see and hear them live again.
Oh how I wish they were here !!!!!!!!!!

All I know is that I will pay anything to see the great ones. I will do anything. I will kill my mother to see them. I would kill myself after the show if I have to in order to see them. I will suck dick to see them. Ok thats a joke, but still. So now I say Roger, Rick, Dave, Nick, lets have a little Floyd Rondevous and do some shows, or even one, even at Earl's Court I don't care I will fly all the way there, I will fucking swim to england if I have to.

Hey,

Yeah, I agree with you guys. It's kinda frustrating to keep waiting, and waiting, and hearing all kinds of rumors on a new album/tour and in the end, well, we end up with nothing. I heard so much about the so called millenium concert, that I actually had money saved to fly wherever that would be (Egypt, Sydney, whatever), but in the end it was just another rumor.

At least Roger is still active... By the way, did any of you go to his last concerts in June?

Shine on!

(Charade chokes on his food and falls to the ground) Not very modest.

Oh well, you all know what I mean. If I really meant anything, but isn't that what life is for? For looking for the end like a big maze through a backyard garden sipping scotch on a nice sunday morning with the breeze on your back and reading the newspaper pleasing your certain need to feel that you know what's going on even though you know that the newspaper you love so dearly is the only continuing work of fiction you like to read.
