In the flesh is pink floyd, great solos, Dave is there and no freaky. Berlin was a collection of great idiots.

I disagree with the others' opinion of Live In Berlin. I liked Live In Berlin, it was a good show. The orchestra added a lot to some songs, and the guitar team of Rick DiFonzo and Snowy White was pretty damn good.

HOWEVER

I do MUCH prefer In The Flesh. It sounds very tight... all the musicians know exactly what's going on and Doyle Bramhall II is great!!! Not to mention Snowy and Andy as well Not only that, but Roger's singing is pretty damn good too! He surprised me greatly with Welcome To The Machine (I thought Jon Carin or Doyle would've sung that one since Dave did on WYWH) but Roger's voice is even better for it, I think. All in all, I think In The Flesh was an awesome album/video and the song selection was great.

PS Only thing I would've changed is I would've added a song from Radio KAOS.

The Wall In Berlin was a charity event, not a normal concert, so the live album may be more "spectacular", but some of the performances really suck.

In The Flesh is now classic. If you compare it to PULSE or DSOT, you can clearly see how much they suck. In The Flesh is the best post-Final Cut live album.

In The Flesh kicks ass... not all of it (especially not the DSOTM songs, those are ass), but all of The Wall songs and Roger solo songs on it are great. The first 4 tracks are all better than original imo. The Wall in Berlin is ok... I like some songs on it a lot, like Nobody Home and Hey You and The Trial.

In The Flesh is better.

I have to admit that I've enjoyed watching The Wall/Berlin on DirecTV this weekend. Although it is the worst of the Wall performances, it's the only one I've been able to see so far. It has some good stuff in it. Mainly, Snowy White's great (as usual) guitar work. Rick Di Fonzo re-creates Gilmour's licks pretty well too, I don't know why he's not more well-known.

Most songs on ITF suck (especially on CD 2) but it's still far better than Berlin.
Pulse and Sound of thunder are far better than both of these records, IMO

Live in Berlin was a variety show w/ PF music. The lowest point was when the has-been Cindy Lauper was trying to sing ABITW.
Roger has perfected his touring and should continue with the venues he recently played.
