Is this area supposed to be for where we talk about things that aren't about Floyd? Like if we want to talk about how the Penguins are going to take the Stanley Cup this year? Or is it for Floyd related stuff such as if we wanted to say that Roger's Fender Precision Bass Guitar was one of the sweetest basses known to man?

Hi,

Anything that you want, really. I thought about adding a whole new category for anything non-floydian, but I figured we'd end up with two "General" sections - one for Pink Floyd and one for non-Pink Floyd, so that would be a little confusing.

But anyway, do you have any suggestions on that?

Yeah, it will work this way, so I think it's fine. And thanks for the complement Charade. Seriously, my next bass is going to be a Fender Precision. It's an excellent piece of craftsmanship.

Does ur band have a name?
and are you just bass guitar?
or vocals aswell?

The rest of the people of the band are extremely worried about what the name is. I thought it should be either "Fantasy Chicken" or "A Leg Dipped in Battery Acid". Nobody else seemed to like it though. I only play the bass guitar as my voice when singing sounds like shite. Do you sing in your band?

i play keyboards though - and backup guitar if needed (acoustic or elec)

Nice to know I'm not the only shitty singer around. In reality we don't actually have a full-time singer, because everyone around here isn't any good. We did have one but right before we were about to perform a song in a show, he backed down and we had to do an instumental performance. We were quite pissed off at him but what can ya do? Charade, we are now Ummagumma! How cool is that?
