Favorite song on Dark Side of the Moon?

On the run is a great song, not the best, but not the worst. It's got a groovy sound and funky noises.

On the run is a little out of place with the rest of the album, just because it's just a sequence being tweaked in real time with noises. How fun is that to hear live? Maybe early versions live, but not PULSE. At least just the CD.

ok,here it goes:

STM/Breathe - great song, but not for hearing over and over again, it get's kinda boring
On the run - nothing special,still quite good
Time - a freakin' masterpiece, the best song on the album, got my vote
TGGITS - a really weird song, I love it
Money - sometimes I hate it, sometimes can't get enough of it...
Us & Them - another masterpiece, almost as good as Time
Any colour you like - the most underestimated PF song ever,brilliant IMO
Brain Damage - Roger at his best,insanity and stuff
Eclipse - far better than Brain Damage, the best lyrics Roger ever wrote

DSOTM is really like one very long song and if only one song was missing, the complete album would lose much of it's briliance. So, this list is my at-the-moment opinion and it may change anytime. Just my thoughts.

i voted for time. that guitar solo is amazing, nothing could sound more perfect with that song than that guitar solo

I agree with what one guy said on I Love the 70's. Breathe is a great song to fall asleep to. It just makes your mind slowly slip away................

Time: Best solo/melody
Money: Best bass line
Brain Damage/Eclipse: Cool

Its btw time, great gig and any colour. Thi last one is very underestimated, its a masterpice, with that weird song, and the guitar solo passing trough a leslie speaker, amazing.

Probably BD + Eclipse, perfect climax for the album. But Great Gig in the Sky, Time, and Any Colour You Like have all got to be up there for me.

I feel abit dumb picking time :\. Let me put it like this, i the whole album is one song, and brain damage is really good, so is great gig of course and us and them ( especially when they go to that high one, battle of something...) and so on. I just feel a bit wrong picking just time :\
