Dark Side Art

Hey, I'm looking for an image I'm sure we've all seen at one time or another. Hard to describe it, but it's the Dark Side of the Moon cover that has been given a more modern treatment (bursts of light, reflections, etc) Anyone have a link to this or any other Dark Side art? Thanks

Not sure. It was VERY similar to this only a much bigger more detailed image. http://www.possums.de/images/darkside3.jpg

Dude, that's just the original cover, with a cheap lens flare effect added onPhotoshop...(at least, that's what it looks like)
I only know 3 different covers, which are the original, the 20th anniversary edition, which is a computer graphic, and the 30th anniversary edition, which looks like a stained glass window, with a forest behind (And it'sblue).

I never said that it was an officially released image. I know that it is was done in photoshop or some sort of digital editor. But just because it isn't an "officially licensed image" doesn't mean that I don't like it. Just trying to see if anyone else liked it and saved it.

Yeah, but it could've been done by just about ANYBODY, and it could be anywhere. Hell, even I could do it in like 5 minutes!

Well like I said the one I am serching for was very similar to the one I posted as an example. It was a much larger image with much more detail. I'm not a photoshop guy so that is why I'm asking. If you have never seen it don't worry about it- maybe someone else has. It used to be all over the web. I just can't find it as of late.

Have your tried Google Image search? (I can't guarantee it'll work, though)

Yeah, Google is how I found it originaly. I used to have it saved as my background. It wasn't all generic looking like the example pic. I wish I knew what happened to it. It got deleted somehow.

If you saved it from the internet as your BG image, then you didn't really save it, you just replaced your default Windows BG with an Internet Exploer Wallpaper (which is actually the name of the original file).
If your PCgets rebooted or throws an error (specially related to Explorer itself), then the image disappears. Maybe that's what happened. Make sure you really save the image first to your own hard drvive, and then go to your desktop properties, and select the file image as a BG from there.

Good luck finding your image! I'll try to help you look. There are several sites with DSOTM-related wallapers out there, try those too.
If you don't find it, i'll make a spiffy-looking one for you

Thanks for the help. That is probably what happened to it, but I thought that I saved it as well. Anyway let me know if you find anything like that out there on the web. Thanks again!
