Re: oldest or newest

I can't compare them really, but the one I listen to more often is Division Bell.

Re: oldest or newest

The real Pink Floyd album, of course.

No Roger, no Pink floyd.

Re: oldest or newest

Upon finding out the results so far, I was appalled.......I barely listen to Division Bell, whilst I listen to Piper a whole lot! How could you like an album that's not even the real "Pink Floyd?" After the band was torn and mashed and twisted, they flop out of the blender to do Division Bell, and even though it's much better than MLOR, it's not enough to make it one of my favorite albums. So much has happened before that album that it doesn't have that Pink Floyd charm it needs. All I hear is the sound of David Gilmour getting richer.

Bivison bell is good but I like Syd so I would go with Piper.

Re: oldest or newest

High Hopes is the onl;y thing TDB has going for it, Piper is full of catchy, but not-so good or timeless songs.

Piper wins, but barely.

Re: oldest or newest

I'd say The Piper. I don't really like the Gilmour-Stuff like AMLOR or TDB, sure there are good songs like High Hopes, but Syd was.... a genius. But I think, you can't really compare the two albums... there's a difference of 27 years and other band members.
