I also play the guitar righty. That's how I began on it, and that's how I continue with it. I tried a lefty guitar once, and it felt weird, so that's how I am now. I'm not very good with righty scissors, and I never went and bought a left-handed one, so I guess I'm stuck. You think left-handedness counts as a disability?

Ditto! Well, I don't really play guitar, but I've never felt the impulse to hold the guitar like a leftie.
We might not even be lefties after all...!!
I found this test on the net:
You have to sit back, relaxed, on a couch, and cross your fingers, like you'd normally do.

Lefties usually have their right thumb on top.

I tried this, but I couldn't tell, coz I always cross my fingers, leaving both thumbs side to side...
It's like flipping a coin, and being unable to decide, coz the coin landed on its side...

Hmm....after trying to understand what you meant by crossing fingers, I figured out that you have to cross them to make an "x" shape, right? Well, I did that, and my right thumb ended up on top, so I guess I'm a lefty. Say, fellow leftyans, don't you hate it when you're writing with a pencil and when you're done you have that graphite crud caked all over the side of your hand? Never fails. I always have to wash my hands thouroughly after school.......

Really? The fires are out, yes. It was a hell! Praia da Luz ( Light Beach in Inglish ) it's a Lagos city beach. It's the first time you come here? Maybe, i'm going to Algarve Friday night until Sunday, but in Manta Rota ( Vila Real Santo António ).

The only thing I'm capable of during the art lessons is drawing with ink. I'm rotating the paper so that my hand never lays on it. Of course I make the middle part first. I have outstanding results with this technique. Not a one black point on my hand. (except the time when plague striked our school, but that's another story...)

I wonder if what is called "right-handed" guitar playing isn't really "left-handed" afterall. The left hand is the one that has to have the most dexterity.

Yeah, but when we say right-handed, we don't mean that PMC, Jimi, Doyle thing.

stratman has a point; right-handed guitar playing is left hand oriented, mainly. The right hand just plucks strings and stuff.

Yeah, he certainly has a point, but still fingerpicking... or if you play like Mark Knopfler.

sure, but try picking with your left hand. It's coordination of both hands.
