And for the other topic: I think there are quite a few people who can play Gilmour's parts like Doyle. Plus he records his own songs. If this is not art then I don't know what can art be.

In the song Dogs on the ITF album, after the line "dragged down by the stone", it sounds as though the "stone... stone... stone" continuous echo is a sample from the actual Animals album... which would've been Dave.

How was he allowed to do this?

It's a sample. He did not have to do anything new.

Oh. Weird, I would've thought Rog wouldn't have been legally allowed to include a sample of Dave without Dave's permission.

Rog owns a peice of the back catologue, just as the Floyd can play ABITWpt2, he can sample his own records.

I would like to know what photos of Syd were used for the backdrop to 'Shine On You Crazy Diamond'. I have seen some video from the concert and there is a gradually expanding image of Syd Barrett that appeared on the screen. It is a lovely photo and one that I can't seem to find in the various photo archives on line. Do any of you know which photo and if so, can you post a link to it?
