Deleting posts

I have problems with deleting my posts. I check off the Delete post on the Edit post screen and click delete and it says I have no permission to do it. Anyone can help me?

I've had the same problem before. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.

Last time I tried it, it worked.

It might have something to do with your status as 'contributing member' or not. There are some differences (pop-up control, etc.)

We have it set so regular users cannot delete their posts, for security reasons. You may edit it if you need to, though.

Okay thank you Piper and stratman! It was that case when I send a reply to the last post and somebody overruns me, so that my post makes no sense. And the problem is that I can't add a quotation to my post afterwards without all that copying and pasting which steals time.

BTW right now they are playing SOYCD part 6 in a documentary about Mt.Everest climbers on my TV, cool, isn't it?

There's certainly interesting seeing Floyd music being commercially used. I can't wait for the 1973 episode of "I love the 70's" on VH1 (sorry Neshabur) to see what people think of Dark Side. Though I'll probably just get mad at their drug stereotyping.

No prob with VH1! I've watched The Wonder Years and I was surprised how many bands from 60s/70s I knew there.

It works for a short period of time (something like 2 minutes) after you post, just in case you regret posting it immediately after you did. After that time, only editing is possible.
