I am Jimminy! I once used a false identity! Bleah!!!!!!!! I don't think anyone really cares.

See, this hurts me. It really does. Hi, I'm Doctor_how

But I really liked the part about "only used a false identity once"....Oh, and also the part about someone deceiving us all...yeah, I liked that part, too.

PearlWaters: OK. Now I'm confused. Say it in the most blatant terms possible. Even though it will probably deplete me of any respect that I luckily scraped off of the floor.

Re: Would you eat a cloned animal?

doctor_how:

I mean this in the kindest way possible: We here at the forum who have been here for a long time have seen hijinx of most every variety. This includes multiple personalities, bogus polls, false accusations, and the like. People who are relatively new may think that, after a certain amount of time, they just sort of blend in with the old-timers and veteran regulars, and thus they assume that ideas new to them will be new to everyone else, as well. We get a lot of people trying to prove their cleverness by duping us in one way or the other because of this effect.

The point is that we still hardly feel like we know you. Secret things that you do, secret identities that you come up with, while they may seem clever to you (what with displaying a personality rather disparate from your own), we don't hardly care, really. We've seen it a lot of times, and we don't care. You aren't going to establish a reputation as a merry prankster, but rather as an annoying I-wish-I-were sort of person.

What are you trying to prove? That you're smarter than a bunch of people you don't know? That you can establish anonymity in an anonymous medium? So far you haven't even succeeded in that.

Re: Would you eat a cloned animal?

well, i'll never let it happen again. i was falling back not having anything nice to say, so saying nothing at all...that was not hidden in astericks anyway. but, i'm always nice, to some extent.

Re: Would you eat a cloned animal?

I'm not proving that I'm "one of the guys" or that I did an amazing thing by making a second account and making one cranky post with it. I don't care if you forgot all about it. In fact, go ahead. I really don't mind. In fact, I'm hoping that that was just forgotten by now. It's certainly something I don't like to brag about, even though it's brought up sometimes. I'm just giving opinions and views. If I'm nudging into your conversations, fine. I'll back away. Just say so and I'll comply. I've acknowledged the fact that there are other people that have different views and have respected that all my life. People have been banned for more henious crimes than I have done. So if the moderators think I fit into the criteria of the likes of A Talking Head, convag/killme/RokeEpson, cwb, and countless others, so be it.

I've wasted enough of your time. Proceed with the talkin'.............

Re: Would you eat a cloned animal?

Dude, I'm saying I think you should be banned. What I'm frustrated about is how you go around claiming to just be one, and yet be posting with another. Why lie? Why not have just not said anything at all, and lie, then I wouldn't have said anything.
