Attention Veterans: Memorable Thread Compilation

So, I was on a mission earlier today, to compile some of my old favorite threads, however, I hit the wrong window, and lost my page that I was storing all the links on. So I started over! Hrmmmppphhh!

After Cheese resurrecting my first thread, I thought about doing the same for the lot of you. But, it turns out that many of you just jumped right into discussions, and didn't have an intro thread....if they did, sadly I'm not coming across it, and don't have the time. So I need your help!

Veterans, please post your favorite old threads. I noticed that many of us do not create new threads anymore. It's kind of a shame. So I'd like to see what we could unlock from the vaults of historical APFFN moments.

If you are questioning whether or not you are a veteran, then you are probably not one.

And we're off:

Sydney's first thread...Awwwww!
One of GW's Finest Stories Included in this thread...
Bride of a Bull, one of many fine moments
Kevin at work
We could certainly put this game to work right about now...
NNJ sums it up
One of Mark's finer threads I thought
One of mine I had totally forgotten
A thread designed for change
You've never seen sarcasm tactics this good, cracked me up
This page is hilarious

Some veteran threads that have held for awhile, like Ger's soul dead thread, I've not included here. I'm interested in seeing what we can put together to make a good compilation of memorable moments!

Well, here we go, and great idea Chrissy!

One of the finest discussions on the site
The funniest poll around, courtesy of the lovely NNJ
A thread that should be revived
A thread in honour of the most noticeable absence from this site.
The biggest man, well, panda hunt in APFFN history!

I haven't wasted enough of my life to be considered a "veteran", but I thought this was a pretty good thread: http://www.pinkfloydfan.net/showthre...&threadid=2280

Even though you guys had to be little babies and cry about it...Even I got a kick out of that thread, and Im just as big as a Floyd fan as anyone on here. I think its time for you guys to lighten up

Oh yeah! That convag sure was a card. That thread sure was interesting, even though it didn't have much to do with Floyd, so while you have an interesting set of thoughts there, it might help to find something that might support your thoughts a bit better.

Re: Attention Veterans: Memorable Thread Compilation

Cool thread ressurection concept, Pearls. And most of yours and Mother's links were enjoyable revisits. Could have done without the GTM/Cheesus Comedy hour though.

RokeEpson: are you an original member or a previously banned member re-joined? I ask because your general tone of contempt seems very similar to one in mind.

This community is an open and friendly one and all who have no problems with the rules of conduct are most warmly welcomed. Sure, we have our little pet-hates and squabbles as all communities will, but most are handled in an adult fashion...mostly.

So, get with the program - you don't have to "suck-up," be a sycophant or agree with anyone - join in, or ship out. Thank you.

Re: Attention Veterans: Memorable Thread Compilation

This was my first attempt at starting a thread. It was such a miserable failure that I never tried again. At least for a long long time.

I'm not much of a veteran...no wounds, I suppose. But, if i could be "arsed" I'd go back and see my one and only flame session as DaedalusLabyrinth. All that Paul stuff is bollocks, btw.

Re: Attention Veterans: Memorable Thread Compilation

I nominate all the threads wherein I got an annoying member to leave or get banned. Those were fun. Someone find them for me.
