Poor Rick. He's work for PinK Floyd is underrated. Remeber Summer '68 and Remeber a day. Those are great songs. His contributions are often forgotten in favor of Roger and Dave.

To Call--Yeah, but that shot's a particularly nice one. Surely you can have favorites?

Neshabur--I got mine about 3 years ago, when it was easy for any store to just put in the order. Unfortunately, I scratched my copy. Although it plays everywhere else, for some reason it won't read in the car. That's what first set me looking for a new copy--and when I found the problem. Anyway, it's always great to meet other fans of Mr. Wright's!

Davros--Yeah, a lot of his work is either in the background or not noticed because he doesn't have the typical "star" personality. I think he hasn't made a habit of actively pushing his way to the forefront, so it's kind of up to the fans to pay attention to what he does.

Rick seems like those people you assume have become building contractors or something because you haven't heard much about them these days. They just slip into obscurity.......

Well, if you ask me, I'd rather have him lead a quiet life than make a public fool of himself the way so many celebrities do!

Although it can be funny sometimes, when I watch the Osbournes I often find myself thinking I'm SO glad the Floyds don't behave like so outrageously, let alone even allow cameras in their homes like that! That would just about be the height of ridiculousness.

I happen to really like that show, and uphold a huge amount of respect for Ozzy and his family.

I like the episode where Ozzy pulls out his old ARP 2600 synth and plays around with it.

I understand they've been through a lot, and there are traits to respect. I don't diminish that...but sometimes it just goes a bit over the top for me. Just a matter of personal taste, that's all.

Kinda sad that people watch such a dysfunctional family for amusement.

Re: Unfortunate news about RWr's first solo album

Dysfunctional??? I think what's great about the show is that it shows you what the reality is of celebrity life...they are just like us. And let me tell you what I think of "dysfunctional families". There's no such thing. Because all families have issues, all families have problems. There's no such thing as a perfect family. Shows like Leave it to Beaver, and the Brady Bunch, give you something to strive for, but it is unrealistic. And I would say that the one family who really appears to have it together, may have some dark secrets.

And I guess then there's no bother in trying to improve their family.

Re: Unfortunate news about RWr's first solo album

that is horrible news. how is his solo albums? I like Rick and Nick, actually, I think they were both the core of Pink Floyds music just as much as Syd or Roger was. and its a shame that their solo works aren't as popular, they should be given more credit.

What i like best about rick is his nice face, i think he's a really nice person. You can see it clearly on the dark side of the moon dvd, when he is talking about great gig. He's so moddest (probably wrong spelled)
