I was just wondering if anyone has seen the Led Zeppelin DVD, and I am not talking about The Song Remains the Same. I mean the awesome 2 disc DVD. I personally think it is friggin' incredible and I would like to know what all you wonderful people out there think! And another note is umm when does Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii come out!!! I have asked Best Buy and they have no record of it and yet its out in australia and other countries but no hither!!! WHY???!?! lol, so Led Zeppelin DVD and Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii! Yay or nay!

I have never been into Zep. Not for any particular reason...just never got around to it.

On the strength of your recommendation I will consider purchasing the DVD.

I am yet to see Pompeii in any stores here...that's not to say it isn't out...but I haven't seen it yet.

Last I heard, the Pompeii DVD is to be released in October in the US.

But they've been postponing it for a long time, stringing us along, keeping us going. Kinda like the old carrot-in-front-of-the-donkey trick.

I've seen the live CD that was released around the same time as that DVD....the 3-disc one.......for dirt cheap at some places. Would you say that's as good as the DVD also?

Pompeii is now available here in Brazil. I got my hands on a copy yesterday, but only scanned through it - I haven't seen it completely. So far, so good. The director's cut is widescreen and heavily modified, with new cuts and new track names presentation. The other version is the old version we had on VHS, standard (non-wide) screen. Just a small preview until I can get it nicely reviewed.

Every next post talking about snagging a copy of the Pompeii DVD is putting me one step to looniness! Why must things in the US take so slow?

And yes the DVD is much better than the three disc live set. only for one reason, becuz you can see them doing all that stuff and that by its self is amazing!!! but if you don't have the DVD get the CD and if you have the cd get the DVD!!! ahahahaha!

It would be cool to see Jimmy tearing into his guitar with a violin bow.
