yeah, for some reason i've been having trouble with the smilies lately. not that it's anything huge, but it's just odd. it seems that the script is picked up only in parts of the simpler smilies. examples:

Maybe not related to smilies, but I seem to notice a peculiar problem with the buttons at the top of APFFN page (using GtM's Meddle theme). I can't see the buttons (except Members, Search and Logout). I just see a box with a red X on it followed by the link in text. No button

Ooooh and how about this smiley ?
