a depressing yet uplifting poem

heres another one 4 ya.

"*Confusion*"

if everything in the world changed in an instant
if everything was obsolete and nonexistant
if you ever find yourself sitting in a self hate decay
if you've ever wondered why you have to stay
but if you didnt know where to go
surely someone else than god knows
have you ever been so weak you couldnt speak
or even think
have you ever sat down and thought about it clearly
have you sought revenge for whom gave you this feeling
have you ever slept awake lingering on the thought
do you think its a matter that needs to be fought
do you ever want to know why you're here
suddenly its becoming more clear
and if the nerve in your brain disconnects
and its something no one will recollect
but if your mind should renew
surely its the sane thing to do
but if you didnt know where to go
surely someone else than god knows
have you ever had your mind boil in dismay
but have you had someone tell you its okay
do you ever wonder why we are here
suddenly its becoming more clear

so what did u think... love tori.

Re: a depressing yet uplifting poem

For some weird reason, I thought of Edgar Allen Poe while reading your poem. I guess the rhyme scheme of that and The Raven are similar, but your message is definitely optimistic.

Magnifique!

Re: a depressing yet uplifting poem

pretty good. The rhyming scheme is a little corny and predictable, but it's still pretty good!
