| punk goth yeah....i thought the punk movement had popped out of sight sometime in the eighties and was replaced by a growth in the UK called the goth movement....both things seem to have been incredibly distorted over time though. ugh...whatever...isn't this a pink floyd board!

| Re: hi persons I don't know if they are punk of a division of punk (they're more like rock, though they have a punk touch to it) I must say I like some of The Hives. Though their similarity to the Stones is why I'm not an avid fan. Anything else punk ain't passing through my ears. |

| Re: hi persons AFI is very good.... something interesting i have discovered in those so called punks about the pink floyd thing, is that most of them (well atleast the ones in "bands") have heard of pink floyd and hold a very high opinion of the music (well....who could imagine such a thing!) but to make a point...i usually consider those "punks" to be on a slightly more musically acceptable group...of course, those preppy-punks/ diots who skate and are consumed by the new punk movement, are usually a bunch of part time pot smokers, who claim that they really only got into pink floyd for the aura of being on drug's that surround the band. sigh* i need to shut up about this,,,getting all upset for no reason
