I've never heard that one before; will have to store it away for later. Thanks, Chrissy.

Re: fear of clowns

by mildly agoraphobic I meant I become very anxious in certain situations and places. I don't have panic attacks, per se, but I have been treated for anxiety.

Meeting Fulgy, just before and slightly during, I was fairly nervous. I hide it well.

The video store, gas station, or mall I can handle fine, as I know I won't have to stay more than an hour or so and can go back home. Driving is a breeze. School is a nightmare for me. Especially the first day. Going over to people's houses sometimes can panic me. The house of a particular girl I cannot even enter. Got a bit of a troublesome stomach, I guess. Though I can handle rollercoasters just fine.

Open spaces and lots of people don't particularly bother me too much. So, by agoraphobic...I guess I meant, I have a fear of leaving the home. What would that be called?

Re: fear of clowns

Awww...W'Ickky, if you're anywhere near Champaign-Urbana, or any other college town, find a local café somewhere nearby where you're sure to find a sympathetic and hopefully buxom undergraduate working through the summer break. Tell her the gist of this story and she won't be able to resist cuddling you for as hard and long as you'd like.

Somebody cuddle Wing'd Icarus, and fast 'cause if I flew over there and did it, he'd surely have an apoplectic fit, let alone a panic attack.

p.s. were you still nervous after meeting Fulghum? I know I would be.

Re: fear of clowns

I can totally relate to everything youjust said, Wing'd...
...BTW, are you afraid of telephones too? I know Iam. I haven't used a phone in quite a while. I dunno what is it, though. Not seeing the other person? Or just being talking to another person? Just you? Face to face, 'mano a mano'?
I think that's it.
