[Images] The Division Bell...

(I guess PearlWaters will ban me because I opened another thread.)

They have seen better days...

That's some really cool stuff you made there. My browser window was a bit small, and I forgot to scroll over to see the rest of the picture, so I thought that thing on the ground of the first picture was sushi or something! I'd be cool to see a video or something of those heads dancing.......
Keep up the awesome work!

(edit note: I'm assuming you just change the textures on those heads. Is it possible to make one that looks like cheese? )

Well here's an interesting question allaboutkeys...

If you can post three here, then why can't you post more than one in any of the other threads???

I do like the images allaboutkeys, all I've asked is that you contain them!

Not only the textures... the models with the dents are three different ones. Setting up the lighting and the evironment in each scene is also additional work.

Sure, you could make them look like anything you want. But the material has to fit the model in some way.

allaboutkeys,

I am aware that you have received conflicting information, but is there any reason why you are now ignoring PearlWaters' suggestions on limiting your image threads?

How many mods are around here just counting my threads? Is this your understanding of "moderation"? Are you afraid you will some day run out of numbers for your threads? I really don't understand what you are worried about.

If you think I'm a shameless self promoter spamming your forum with my images please say so! But keeping record of the number of threads I have opened is just ridiculous.

Go ahead, delete my threads and ban me from your board! There are other PF forums on the net where my contributions are more appreciated.

You misunderstand, and before you get nosebleed from your lofty position on that high horse, nobody is counting your threads or the number of posts you make.

This issue stems from the size of the images you're posting that, for me, are no problem because I use a broadband internet connection, but for dial-up users, could well be more trouble than your images are worth.

Now, I haven't yet received any complaints about your images and their loading times, but PearlWaters and I thought we'd act proactively so that you could continue sharing your images with us without causing possible troubles for less speedily-connected members.

Instead of jumping out of your pram (baby buggy) and threatening to leave to post elsewhere, why don't you provide suggestions on how better to display your work?

You could put a link to them, also, and whoever wants to download it can download it.

I don't understand what the big deal is about NOT opening new threads. Are you just disturbed that we're suggesting that each image doesn't have it's own little title, and place? I think keeping your work in one thread is just respectful to other members who would like to browse the forum in general. If they want to view your images, don't you feel it would be best to have them showcased in one place instead of scattered?

I can appreciate your work, but I don't appreciate the rudeness you have on display here.

Ummm Three points.....

1) Your work is nothing short of amazing. I absolutely Love the new TDB stuff.. excellent!.

2) I have never encountered Mod's anywhere else as even handed and fair as BoaB and Pearly. Not only are they excellent Mods but I consider them friends... don't crap on them.. they are just doing what they feel is best for our little niche away from reality here.

3) Your work is exemplary..your attitude could use some tempering.. So far you have not managed to offend me (or anyone else that I can tell) but you'll get a lot farther with a bit o honey instead of a jar of vinegar....

I really enjoy your images, and you seem like a nice enough chap.. I'd hate to loose you just because of your commmunication skills.....

Just my thoughts...

I also really like your work, and PearlWater's and BOAB's "patience" with me is defninitely a sign that they are good mods.
