| Re: Three Great Bands Metallica kicks ass, although i believe i deserve my money back for st. anger. I also love Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness. Smashing pumpkins are known for a few songs but few people know what a great album that is. Nirvana is good but very over-rated in my opinion, and I would take Foo-Fighters over Nirvana any day.

| Re: Three Great Bands I haven't heard all of St. Anger, but I heard the title track, which sucked, and some other song which sounded okay. I have stayed away from it because I love Metallica so much and I've heard so many bad things about it. BTW, I like the Foo Fighters a little better than Nirvana.

| Re: Three Great Bands Dave Grohl is a friggin' idiot. He was a punk guy untill Kurt blew his brains out. Now he makes sappy music. Don't get me wrong, I like some of thier songs, but you can't compare th two bands. |

| Re: Three Great Bands Now, who was it that did that rougher cover of Have a Cigar for some movie? I think it was Mission Impossible or something like that. I want to think Foo Fighters but i'm not sure. |

| Re: Three Great Bands nirvana made some great music, negative creep, anyone? but they do become a little uninteresting after you've heard the albums a thousand times. metallica made some amazing albums a while back, ride the lightning and master of puppets in particular, but have lost the plot since the black album. st anger just shames them. siamese dream by the pumpkins has to be one of the best albums of the nineties, and criminally under-rated. soma still gets me every time, and quiet still gets me that ole whiplash feeling! as for foo fighters, liked their older stuff, not so gone on the most recent stuff, tho i saw the video for low for the first time last night, pretty good...
