Well almost that much..financed anyway... I just bought a 2003 Dodge Durango tonight... We needed a new car, but I'm sure not looking forward to the monthy pound of flesh.....

We did get a good deal though. With the 2004 models right around the corner the dealerships are very motivated to deal.

Anyone else bought a new ride lately?????

You spent 25 G's on a Daimler-Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge?

What, did they see you coming?

Sorry, but I think Pearly's in the gentle embrace of Morpheus, so you're in my evil clutches until her return.

Actually, it'll be the Wifeys new wheels. I'll get to borrow it occasionally.

And Yes Byron, I spent that much on a Daimler-Chrysler/Plymouth/Dodge for my wife....

If I didn't I'd be spending some quality time on Chrissy's "Other" site... if you get my drift.....

Yo Fulghum - congrats on the new SUV!

We're about to replace our 96 Jeep Gr Cherokee and need something that seats more than 5 (when the in-laws visit and such)...but I'm going foreign this time.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Jeep, but it hasn't been the best in terms of reliability (two fuel pumps at 40K, power steering unit at 70K, water pump at 80K, the list goes on and on) - why can't us Yanks build cars with decent parts? Great engines (the jeep has the 5.2L V-8 that is a great workhorse), but lousy rest-of-the-auto.

So we're probably going to get a Honda Pilot this time...

P.S. My other car is also a Daimler/Chrysler product (Concorde) - and it is also a good car with sub-par reliability (new engine management computer at 45K!!! - thank God that was covered under the extended warranty)

P.P.S. My wife's car is a 1999 Toyota Corolla - 80K with only gas and oil changes. THAT's reliability!

That it did. Shame on you! And you've totalled shocked me by knowing that there's such a thing as a "safety word." Very shocked.
