Re: who's the best?

That's a shite list of bands imo (with a couple of exceptions), there's been loads more that are better than that lot over the last 15 years.

Re: who's the best?

I'm gonna have to go with Radiohead for the last fifteen years.

Oh, and just for clarification purposes, "The Wall" and "A Momentary Lapse of Reason" are not from the last fifteen years. Only DB and "PULSE" are.

Re: who's the best?

I guess you could say that I've had my "phases" with about every band on there except for AC/DC. I've never really cared for them. The vocals ruin everything. But, to the point. I think Pink Floyd is by far the best band on since '88.

Agreed.

I really can't decide (but here;s my thought process)...it really comes down to REM, U2, Tool, and Radiohead. Well, U2's last 3 albums haven't really been up to par...they kinda lost it after "Achtung Baby." But some of REM's best stuff has come out since '88, "Green," "Automatic For The People" and "Monster." Then Tool...I can't say I know them really well, but "Lateralus" is a masterpiece. Then Radiohead...very innovative and original. "OK Computer" is utterly brilliant, not to mention "Kid A" or "The Bends."

Yeah, that didn't help any...

I voted 'other' for "Alice in Chains"

Great, groundbreaking band!

Re: who's the best?

I voted Radiohead. And, in my opinion, they are the best band in active.
