NOW I KNOW THIS SOUNDS A LITTLE OUT THERE, BUT THE BAND IS WORKING ON A HUGE WORLD TOUR. IF ALL GOES WELL THEY WILL BEGIN IN 2001. RUMORS ARE RUMORS, BUT THIS IS MOST LIKELY GOING TO HAPPEN. I AM FREAKING OUT. I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK.

It's bullshit. It always is. Go to www.pinkfloyds.com and it'll show you that Gilmour said there were no plans for album/tour. Be thankful Roger's doing stuff

Yea - we all know about the compilation album - we also know that any tour will probabably (if it's in the future) not be posted on the site - and also you can't always trust our beloved Floydian musicians!!!

Caffenerk, you can find those (Gilmour's remarks on future plans and the new compilation albums) and many other news (such as the upcoming Gilmour gig in London) in our News page.

Cheers,

Yes. The fact is that it is unlikely that a world tour is in the works. I doubt they would keep it under wraps as it would be a huge event.

I remember when in 1987 Pink Floyd planned to come to Israel on the Momentary lapse of reason Tour but canceled their desicion. I was a bit freaked.
I'm afraid that history is about to repeat itself and that pink floyd is going to do another tour without coming to Israel, Due to how the condition is reported on CNN and on the BBC.
well, atleast we had Jethro tull last year...

_Archer, if that serves as a consolation, Pink Floyd never came to Brazil either and last year everybody including the press (major newspapers and magazines) were saying that they'd play at Rock in Rio. Of course they didn't and the guy who organized the festival said it was his big frustration, that he couldn't bring them to Brazil.

I am always afraid they won't be playing anymore and then I will never get to see them again. Of course that's part of the reason why I'm hopefully flying to London in June to see Dave... Hope everything works out...

Cheers,
Paulo
