yet another newbie...

I don't usually make new threads announcing my arrival on a forum, but I decided to make an exception here since this forum has a whole lot more members than most of the forums I visit.

Anyway, I suppose I should say a little more about myself for those of you who don't want to check my profile. My favorite Floyd album is Dark Side of the Moon, unless I'm in an angry mood, in which case my favorite would be The Wall. I don't really have a favorite Floyd era; I'll listen to anything from the beginning of the group up until the point Waters left the group (I stand behind Waters 100%). My favorite song is a three-way tie between "Money", "Sheep", and "Fearless", but of these three, "Money" has been on my list of favorite songs the longest--I've loved it since the first time I heard it when my dad gave me some coins to use the jukebox at some restaurant when I was three years old and could barely read the list of selections on the jukebox. I've been a fan since that moment, although I didn't really become a hardcore fan until I hit adolescence.

(I hope I properly censored the profanity in my sig--would someone please let me know if I put the asterisk in the wrong place on the word or if I need to put in a few more asterisks to make the profanity acceptable--I know that every board has a different convention for how to censor such words, and I would like to apologize to the mods if I incorrectly censored that quote.)

Re: yet another newbie...

I absolutely love a good introduction. I'm with you on the Roger thing, that's awesome. A warm welcome to you lunaticDagny. Wonderful to have you aboard.

No worries on the censorship. It will automatically put the asterik there, and what you have there will work just fine.

P.S. Like the avatar, too.

The C-word might not be auto-censored, but you can bet when it appears it will be Englar and Pearly censored. True story.
