| Re: APFFN's top 25 guitarist of all times That would work. Satriani doesn't use a wah pedal constantly on every song.

| Re: APFFN's top 25 guitarist of all times yeah, i can't emulate any of the solos on elephant without that pedal. I'd have to bend like 12 steps on the 21'st fret. |

| Re: APFFN's top 25 guitarist of all times That's the bad part. I'm not that good of a soloist anyway... so I stick to rhythm. I like to play Black Math. |

| Re: APFFN's top 25 guitarist of all times yeah black math is an awesome song. I kind of improvise on that solo since i don't have the dang pedal. |

| Re: APFFN's top 25 guitarist of all times Id recommend a zoom then, I have one, and it has a pitch shifter and a whammy on it. Tom Morello is also very proficiant with the whammy - Calm Like a Bomb is a good example.

| Ya Ya, here's my list. 1. Jimi (Machine Gun) 2. Gilmour (Echoes, SOYCD, Time) 3. Page (Stairway, Heartbreaker, Since I've Been Loving You) 4. Clapton (Layla) 5. Zappa (I'm the Slime) 6. Barrett (Astronomy Domine, Interstellar Overdrive) 7. Ray Vaughn (Pride and Joy) 8. Rossington (Freebird) 9. Harrison ( I'm Only Sleeping) 10. Beck 11. Allman 12. Townshend 13. Frampton 14. Lennon 15. Miller (Steve, that is) 16. Walsh 17. Young 18. Kath 19. Krieger 20. Howe However, I guess I haven't been around long enough, because these are pretty much the only guitarists that I really listen to. I know of others, but I don't get the same feel from them. I want to get experienced to more, and right now's the prime time. Also, whoever put Page at 26 should reconsider. From Zeppelin I to Physical Graffiti, it's all golden. There's too much in between that to say otherwise.

| Re: APFFN's top 25 guitarist of all times I put Page 26. It was my list and I chose it that way because those 25 are MY favorites, and influenced MY musical choices through MY life. I like Page a lot, but I'm not as big a Zeppelin fan as some other folks are. I love their stuff, but as a blues player myself, I chose a few traditional bluesmen to fill out my top 25. YOUR list is great, I like everyone on it, and appreciate the fact that YOUR choices (all good) are different than mine. That's all.
