Please help me find this song I really need help figuring out the name of a PF song and which album it's on so I can buy it. All I know is the chords & tune, which can't help me here, and a tiny fraction of lyric. I can tell you I think the chorus begins "I'll get by in my own way" and also contains the words "new day." I remember hearing it almost 20 years ago & I swear it was Floyd or one of the members. Can anyone help me? Thanks so much, DJ

Sounds like it might be "Fearless" off the Meddle album. Fearless You say the hill's to steep to climb, climbing you say you'd like to see me try, climbing you pick the place and I'll choose the time and I'll climb the hill in my own way just wait a while for the right day and as I rise above the tree-line and the clouds I look down, hearing the sounds of the things you've said today Fearlessly the idiot faced the crowd, smiling merciless the magistrate turns round, frowning and who's the fool who wears the crown go down in your own way and every day is the right day and as you rise above the fear-lines in his crown you look down, hearing the sound of the faces in the crowd

Not to be nitpicking but this area is saved especially for questions about THE SITE and forum, not PF related topics.

Thank you Good morning, Thanks so much, Stratman. That was it! I'll be waiting at Best Buy when they open today. To any who were offended by my post-out-of-place, I apologize. I was innocently seeking advice from those who are obviously more knowledgeable than I and honestly intended no harm. I had no idea it would case such a stir. I stand educated and will refrain from further posting on your site. Thank you for the hospitality and the education, DJ

I beleave that the song you are looking i for is a song in the Album "Dark side of the moon", it could be eather one "Eclips"All that you touch All that you see All that you taste All you feel. All that you love All that you hate All you distrust All you save. All that you give All that you deal All that you buy, beg, borrow or steal. All you create All you destroy All that you do All that you say. All that you eat And everyone you meet All that you slight And everyone you fight. All that is now All that is gone All that's to come and everything under the sun is in tune but the sun is eclipsed by the moon. Or it could be the song Breathe, Breathe, breathe in the air. Don't be afraid to care. Leave but don't leave me. Look around and choose your own ground. Long you live and high you fly And smiles you'll give and tears you'll cry And all you touch and all you see Is all your life will ever be. Run, rabbit run. Dig that hole, forget the sun, And when at last the work is done Don't sit down it's time to dig another one. For long you live and high you fly But only if you ride the tide And balanced on the biggest wave You race towards an early grave. I could be wrong but i hope i helped
