poems...

well i finally decided to post a few of my little ditties... comments and critisism welcome as i enjoy writing...

the forlorn mountains
- grey and cold
towering from
- stone so old
remind me
- of my insignificance
test my resolve
- as i search for bliss
shrouded in wetness
- whispering silver
breathes in sorrow
- a message to deliver
speaks to me of things
- long past
and dares me, beckoning
- to ask
i stare silently
- and wonder
my mind is tugged
- to the ocean under
cool and deep
- my soul rests at last
finally my worries sleep
- i end the fast
up i splash
- blue joy abound
my path through the sky
- to the sun ive found
now far below
- the stolid mountains stand
as long as im here
- ill enjoy this land

Mmm, I liked it.

Sounds like something I would write, mostly because all my stuff rhymes like that. That last line is good.

heres one thats meant to be funny, its not directed at anyone in particular..

on this rock i sit
i want to spit
realization has just hit
you really are a stupid git
i want to throw a fit
yours is nothing to my wit
yet i chomped down on your bit
you are a dit
i want to squeeze you in a giant mitt
and pop you like a zit
ive got more grit
you just dont get it
your mind is like a kit's
you dont chat or chit
all that you say is what others shit

a reletively pointless quasi-limrick

i want to write... something meaningful
but my words seem less important than a seagull
i try to rhyme
i have a good time
maybe someday i will make meaning mine

the first one is better

one that actually had a title...

'not anymore'

my hand is sore
im glad i dont masurbate anymore
for myself i have greater things in store
so much better than lookin at some whore
and better than blood, guts and gore
these things im throwin out the door
no more will feelin good be a chore
like before
when i would wage war...
with myself, sprawled out on the floor
lookin up to the lord
life was a boar...
but not anymore.
