| Gilmour scheduled to go into outer space It is rumored that David Gilmour, following in Lance Bass's footsteps, will pay an estimated $20 million dollars to travel into outer space via a Russian Soyuz space shuttle. He is supposed to start training in Russia's Star City in the spring of 2005 for a launch in 2006. The trip will circle the moon, allowing the Soyuz to release a telescopic satellite that will eventually send picutures of the relatively unexplored back side of the moon, often referred to as the Dark Side of the Moon, back to Earth. Special attention will be paid to several large craters that may give some hints as to why the mass extinction that wiped out the dinousaurs took place on Earth billions of years ago. It is also rumored that Gilmour will be taking up a piece of special luggage; a special reel to reel recorder that will play a continuous loop of "Dark Side of the Moon". It will be released while the Soyuz is on the backside of the moon, so that it will forever float amoung debris in outer space. Hope it's true? ~Fletch

| Re: Gilmour scheduled to go into outer space And write a personal message to Roger on its surface, so that Roger will have to see it every night.

| Re: Gilmour scheduled to go into outer space He should have a nice flight. I hear they keep the spacecraft cool enough that he should be comfortably numb.

| Re: Gilmour scheduled to go into outer space It would be a shame if the loss of atmospheric pressure caused any brain damage for Dave.

| Re: Gilmour scheduled to go into outer space There's a lot that's unknown about space. You never know, on the dark side he may find several species of small furry animals gathered together in a cave grooving with a pict.

| Re: Gilmour scheduled to go into outer space Well I certainly hope to be there on the day that Dave says goodbye blue sky, hello dark side of the moon.
