Re: Favorite album?

Unfortunatly I was born in 1988, a generation full of shitty music, but I think I could call myself a loyal Floyd fan because I have loved them for as long as I can remember. But, I think if you are a true PF fan you cannot have a favorite album because there are so many and the each one differs from one another tremenduously. There are so many different levels of the music and you have to love them all to be a hardcore true PF fan. So, if this made sense to anyone but me, having a favroite PF album is almost impossible. But, if I had to pick one it would be Animals because I suppose I connect with it the most

Re: Favorite album?

I became a Floyd fanatic after watching Live at Pompeii. I bought it with some birthday money 3 years ago and I purchased one album of theirs once a week from then on until I bought them all. I love all their albums, but my true favorite is Animals. I could listen to just that album all day. There are certain months where I'll listen to it nonstop whenever I have the time.

Re: Favorite album?

I retract any statements I made.

This same lonely desert was the last known home of the Manson family; will he make that grim connection when my attorney starts screaming about bats and huge manta rays coming down on the car? If so, well, we'll just have to cut his head off and bury him somewhere, 'cause it goes without saying that we can't turn him loose. He'd report us at once to some kind of outback Nazi law enforcement agency and they'll run us down like dogs. Jesus, did I say that? Or just think it? Was I talking? Did they hear me?"

Don't. Everyone is entitled to their opinion.

NARROW-MINDED*
*One who does not accept variety: *"If I have to explain, you wouldn't understand."

I have just heard "Animals" (complete the album ) for the first time. Even though there have been many a treasured favorite on my list, I believe this latest morsal would have stood the test of time had it been the first through my ears.
