I think Mr. Waters said on one occasion that he is spiritual, but I think he does not subscribe to any particular religion. I think there's an interview out there somewhere, where he discusses this, but I can't remember anymore where it is.

As for the others, I don't know what their beliefs are.

Gilmour stated that he doesn't follow any particular religion and Nick Mason said he believes in God Dylan (true!!!!)... I don't know about Rick but I assume he's not that different from the others.

Out of curiosity, do you remember where Mr. Gilmour said that?

As for Mr. Wright, it doesn't surprise me that he hasn't said anything. He seems like one of those people for whom religious or spiritual beliefs would be a very private internal matter.

An interview for BBC Radio in 1999.

You probably realize this, but Mason was joking when he said that. just like ol' Nick. Was that the interview from "Q" magazine? he also said "No I don't [believe in God] although sometimes I wish I did."

I would imagine the four band members are all fairly critical of organized religion, otherwise they wouldn't have performed the Religious Sequence in early live versions of Dark Side of the Moon

Then again, the other three sometimes weren't equally critical of a lot of things Waters was writing about. But yeah I doubt any of them belong to a religion.
But speaking of criticizing religion, i think some people go about it all wrong. i mean sure there are lots of religious leaders who exploit people and deserve the lashing they get, but when it gets down to criticizing the morals that the people follow...even if they didn't belong to a "religion" or faction, even if they didn't go to church and put money in a collection plate, it's not an organization that they believe in, it's faith in a god or a template like the Bible. no one makes them believe what they believe, therefore when people think they're criticizing a religion, they're actually criticizing someone's faith and what they believe. just IMO

Perhaps... but... this could easily descend into the Dark Side of the Forum so I won't press the issue further.

I wouldn't want that to happen...I'll erase the post if it will help, and i'm not being sarcastic.
