Perceive,

I hope that's not why she's now an EX-gf.

I really don't see why they don't release it on CD. The songs are amazing and they are the best versions of all the songs, it just doesn't make sense that they haven't yet. Saucerful of Secrets from Pompeii is possibly one of my fave Floyd songs. It deserves digital excellence, not analog crap.

lol

Don't tell us, tell the Floyd, I'm sure they would love to suck more money out of us with a re-issue of it on DVD.

Actually, I think it would be great if they released all of their music videos on DVD. I'd buy them.

I believe that BoaB stands for Bride of a Bull, one of the posters on this forum.

LOL Thanks Radiochair for your timely clarification.

Just watched the Pompeii video again this weekend and was re-impressed with the guys...and remembered why the first half of Saucerful... grates on my nerves. Thank goodness for FastForward.

Otherwise, it's as always a musical and visual treat.

Floyd on!
Byron

PS - Boab sounds very cool - say it - BoaB, out with the cow stuff - in with the Boab,

IF Pompeii came out on DVD, I probably still wouldn't get it...

...seeing as i don't have DVD player.
But maybe some of my pals would get it - so I guess it would be good.

Hehe.

I may experience an identity crisis if you lot aren't careful. First it was "cow", then Maisie, now it's BoaB.

I've said it several times and it still sounds silly.

Re the topic: Nick Mason, I feel, is a most underrated member of the band. He looks (looked) very cool with his droopy moustache too.

I think it would be cool if they released the songs on CD.. as in Compact Disc. Pompeii has the best versions ever of Saucerful of Secrets and Careful With That Axe Eugene.
