I dont know about others but I liked the ROGER's interpretation of "WISH YOU WERE HERE!" in his ITF 20002 tour .While Dave's PINK FLOYD live "Wish You were Here!" are always same almost...Hence Rog's version is refreshing with synth keyboard & organ instead of The Guitar+Vocals of Dave 's solo parts.
So what do you think about it?Which one is better?
Rog's OR Dave's SAME repeatition of WYWH song?

This will probably surprise you, but I voted for both live versions. I have always thought the studio version paled compared to the live ones--there's a very special electricity and warmth to the live versions that just doesn't happen on the original. I did not like much on ITF--and yet I liked that. I haven't met a live version of WYWH that I didn't like, in fact. And PULSE--what else can I say but fantastic?

I voted for David's PF versions, but the original is way up there too. For live versions, I like the PULSE version because of Renwick's exquisite 12-string work, and the crowd sings along with David. What magic!

I liked the extra chorus bit on Roger's live shows, but the original is still best I think.

I voted for original version. I don't like Roger version. He take off the essence of the original music version.

Dave's version will always be best, only he can sing it right.

But I DO like the lap steel guitar added to Rog's version.

Original...there's just something captured in that recording that doesn't exist in the concerts (like Dave's croaky, sad sounding voice).

The orginal, I think the one from In The Flesh live is horrible, just my opinion though.

I picked Dave's live version, mostly for his warm voice (and I really like the little "dah dah doo dah dah doo...." bridge).

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't PF do the 2-chorus version (like Waters' "In the Flesh") on the "Animals" tour? (hmm, that tour was also called "In the Flesh"....)

I like the original version best. Never really liked live versions. Roger raped this song on ITF, but I like it anyway
