Do you play any instrument?

I'm not sure if theres another thread with the same topic, i hope not.

I started guitar lessons 3 years ago, just because i wanted to play it like many of my friends. But when the months passed I fell in love with the instrument, i found a new way of expressing the soul, a new way of feelings transmition. Now im learning piano, armonica and i'd like to learn some classic instrument like chello. In fact, i feel that playing instruments is a way to say more things that just speaking.

I think all instruments speak the same language, just on their very own voice.

Do you play any instrument?, or what is you favourite one?

Welcome, CHEBAS!!

You sound like a very gifted musician-in-the-making. Good luck with all those instruments.

My fav is guitar, which I play. I also like Saxophone, which I can make noise on. (Me & Bubba!!)

I was just thinking, that might make me a candidate for R S "100 greatest Sax players."

Re: Do you play any instrument?

I play the bass guitar..I started playing in 91. I figured too many people play guitar and that drums are too big and expensive to play so I went with the bass. I'm been playing with the same singer/guitarist since '94 and we have ton (maybe 30+) of original songs. I'm in the process of trying to finish up a self produced CD we have about 9 songs so far and we will probably finish it when we decide what last 3 songs to record. I think playing music is a great creative outlet. There is no right or wrong way to do anything and it's fun to have complete control of what you are doing. We are looking for a new drummer now so we can start playing gigs again in the Dallas area...if you know a good drummer who lives near Dallas let me know please.

Re: Do you play any instrument?

I play the guitar reasonably well, and can play the keyboard although I'm hardly a budding Richard Wright, plus the flute and a few other wind instruments.
