Right on, Daphne! I'm a Toronto native myself and can remember those days somewhat (although I was very young then). Barenaked Ladies' tape was on Sam the Record Man's store shelves along with a new tape called
Nevermind and of course twin Guns N' Roses albums plus that eye-catching Michael Jackson one with "Black Or White" on it.
It would be several years later before I'd even heard of Pink Floyd. Being five years old... I was more into, um, Raffi.
