Sounds a bit Like PATGOD to me

I was listening to music with my friend today and he brought over a CD. It was Franz Ferdinand (the band not the archduke of austria) and to me it sounded similar to Piper at the Gates of Dawn. So this brought me a new faith in new music.

That's funny 'cause I thought they sounded a lot like The Cure when I first listened to them.

They're the only new MTV-driven band I can get into now, and that's just because their Take Me Out video is probably the coolest video of the year. I mean, who else would make a dada-inspired video? The Talking Heads? and they are around anymore!

Then, I heard them on TV, some commercial promoting their album, and I must say, I was pleasantly suprised. The band has a good sound -- a rarity these days.

Took a while for me to get into them, but I like them. Good stuff.

I'm not the only one who thought Dada while watching this video!

Right on.

They *do* sound like the Talking Heads, btw. With a speech impediment.
