Thank you for the warm welcome!

Wow..TOTO is this place for real?! I cant believe how nice people are around here. Thank you to everyone who has gone out of their way to make me feel welcome and wanted, that is a rareity on the Doors web page...lots of negative vibes...I am of the mind that says i am as happy as i choose to be..cuz if i am happy based on circumstances...im screwed!
I am so excited to explore this music, and i cant believe how much there is!!! You guys got it good... The Doors put out a small amount of music, and we have only so many audience recordings, most have been tracked down, and i have done my part to end "HOARDING" of Doors material, the Doors camp has a strange vibe about rare recordings...keep them for yourself! I was practically banned for giving out a rare alternate recording of the infamous SINGER BOWL show in NY. Long Story, anyway i just want to again say thanx for the down home hospitality, you FLOYDIANS are allright! I posted in the collector area about swaping Morrison material for Floyd shows i need to hear. If anyone can help this green pea get started in the right direction, it will be greatly appreciated, and compensated. My family makes rifle scopes, optics, binos etc. goto www.leupold.com Peace

This one says you are most welcome.

Here's an idea: why don't you PM Paulo, The Piper and ask him how he managed to attract so many "true" Pink Floyd fans to make this the best on the web.

Then you can start a "proper" Doors fan network site similar to this one and lay down the law that "negative vibers" should stay the hell away. The All Doors Fan Network (ADFN), perhaps. I might even visit it if it's good.

POP! goes the weasel,
Byron

Yes, Thank you Pearl Waters, and Bride of a Bull, I like your idea, unfortunately I have the technical expertise of a piece of dry toast...just joining this web site cost me half a day in wages, due to the lack of functioning brain cells....That damn herb! Oh well, I understand that brain synapsis start to fire properly after 5-10 years of abstinance...HA. Anyway, I do appreciate the warm reception...sorry if the scope thing upset anyone, I was just not thinkin real straight. Take care and remember , you all are as happy as you choose to be.

Oh don't worry about that. I figured it was all in fun. We do have a rather large pro-Doors group around here, so feel free to promote said group whenever possible.

Just thought I'd welcome you to APFFN as well, offsmack, we're all glad you're here and hope you enjoy the site. BTW, a lot of floydians, as you probably may have noticed already, are Doors fans, and that includes myself. BTW, congrats on your abstinence, I was really glad to hear about it - take it one day at a time, have fun, and I know you'll be just fine!

Offsmack, glad to have you with us. You may have been the first to benefit from the new APFFN newbie-awareness program.

Anyone who loves the Floyd & The Doors and beats drugs is OK in my book. ODAAT, bro.

I'm probably the only one on this board into guns, and have caught some flak for it. I have a Redfield 3 X 9 on my .22-.250, but Leupold is a might fine product.

Cool Stratman, It was very strange growing up in a GUN crazy family...turning into a junkie and not knowing ANYTHING about the family business, I was at a rehab called COPAC in Mississippi, when word got out that a LEUPOLD was court ordered to clean up, my anonymity was instantly blown, the COPAC phone booths were flooded with Red Neck toothless drunks tellin their Gran Pappies that a Leupold was here, and they can get scopes for FREE!!! Man what a trip! I did 6 months in that godforsaken jungle and the day i graduated my bunk mate (interestin incredible story) a famous 60's song writer/musician showed up at my apartment with enough speedballs to drop a black rhino, anyway apparently it wasnt yet time for me to leave insanity, I ended up in a full blown relapse with a nut, and found myself at the end of it all pushing a shopping cart...still thinking i was BETTER than other cart people! Terminal uniqueness my sponser calls it...the "itty bitty shitty committee" in the back of my head tells me all sorts of crap like that...truth be known this Leupold character was more pathetic and sick than all the cart people combined! I still got a long way to go, but its nice to not go at it alone, FRIENDS, this is something i have really never had. Thanx again to all of you for the words of support and encouragement. And if anyone wants some kick ass live Doors shows, I have some amazing stuff.
