What was it like?

Me Only being 16..I dont know what its like to have the joy of
"A NEW PINK FLOYD ALBUM!"..What was it like back then when you heard DSOTM (or any others) coming out?

Life Changing....

i've no fecking clue.

I was 3 (0r 4) when The Final Cut was released, 8 when MLOR came out, and 13 when Division Bell did. But I don't recall how I felt at the time.

I was 6 or 7 and i remember my mom going to a Pink Floyd concert.......

I've just remembered, when Pulse came out, all the music shops having them red flashing lights. It didn't mean much at the time though.

It was even more fun having awaited the arrival of the album, then to miss the first round of Live concerts, only to be rewarded for patience with a second unmissed chance - the last, in fact - to see the band Live.

I had the privlidge of attending one of only a handfull of Wall Tour dates here in the U.S.A.
