Russian astronauts took up a copy of the LP The Final Cut when they went on the space station Mir in the 80's. Don't quote me on the Mir part, I'm kinda blurry on that part, but I do know that The Final Cut went up in space, making the first instance of Pink Floyd among the stars......

So did I. Although it should have been the Final Cut because it's far better. Oh yeah, IMO.

In a fit of jealousy, Roger probably paid the Russkies to take TFC to Mir after he heard about DSoT being up there.

It was Delicate Sound Of Thunder obviously.

Having said that, I think that launching all the existing copies of TFC into the far deep space would be a great idea!!!

I was always under the impression it was not actually regarding being in space, more to do with the atmosphere created by their music.

Although being so great it is obvious that they would go up there.
